I am that I am... A body of water of flesh. Within me lives life which knows only my body. A spirit also lives inside of me... which knows of an external life beyond my own. My flesh bounds me.... puts a veil on my memory. Traps me with the help of powerful forces. As my cells instinctively do their purpose within my body... my spirit explores the ancients of a timeless time. Just as my cells are a part of me... I am a part of the world. Just as I am a part of the world... the world is a part of the father. We are cells inside of a vast and unique place called God.
Yes yes yes. Awesome! Loved it. Beautifully written! I can very much relate to this experience. Jungian psychology has been powerful for helping me to articulate the wholeness of self -- recognising spirit in the flesh and flesh in the spirit exsisting simultaneously because Jung was scientific, but he had a deep intuitive understanding of ancient mythology and Shamanic cultures from all around the world, and he was in profound disagreement with Sigmund Freud about the nature of the unconcious. Unfortunately Freud's theories became the more dominant and drew down the veil between spirit and matter, thus imprisioning and demonising much of the creative impulses necessary to maintain a deep relationship with God. That concept of attainment, of making ourselves whole, being both part and parcel of God at the same time, of directly expressing that which is infinite and from which all possibilities may arise has many names: God, The Primordial Mind (Buddhism) The Collective Conciousness (Jung) The Way (Tao) Krishna Conciousness (Bhagavadgita) Jung was both a master physician and a great liberator of the human soul. I highly recommend him. I'm going to become a fan of you on the strength of that piece of writing alone. I had a dream last night about a Gypsy and I recognise it as you. I can't wait to read more of your stuff. Warmest regards.
