Our Mystery Evermore

Our Mystery Evermore

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

Wondering about the beginning like I always do. Putting out one of many theories that I have just to ponder on...

"
Intellectual Organisms...
how did we become?
Trapped spirits in moving flesh...
Thy will be done.

Why thy willed? This I wonder...
Whats the purpose of this hell?
Why the beginning of it all?
Why the purpose of this veil?

In the beginning... In the beginning...
can't wrap this around my mind.
How was the beginning a beginning?
What if it's a simple find?

What if the "nothing" was really "something"...
and the "something" was not aware.
Then the "something" sparked from "nothing"...
with a bang and a flare.

Then once aware, it had nowhere...
to go, to understand...
so out of chance, it begin to dance
across water... no land.

Water came, from what I ask?
I wonder to myself.
It formed itself, evolved itself...
and saw within itself?

Or was it fire? A burning ball?
A powerful thriving force...
A bang of energy forming true
to kick start life... this source?

Maybe air but not alone...
with material from what place?
Suppose to be null and void...
means nothing in this space.

Null is nothing... void is too...
what happened from the start?
My mind is spinning out of control...
blood rushes through this heart.

So I go back to water...
a spiritual given grace.
A big percentage of water we are...
all the elements need in place.

Back to square one, I sigh despaired.
Theories I have ga-lore.
The wonder of the world we know...
our mystery evermore.

One of many theories I have... like to throw them out, mix them up and hope that something makes complete sense one day.

The world of science tried to make everything logical. I saw the birth of my children. Some mysteries of life are wonders. I'm glad science have not made us into perfect species. We need to look at a flower blooming and be amazed. I like the many strong statements in the poem. I believe water is the key to man. He best take care of the remaining source of life. Thank you for a excelelnt poem.

Nicely done! Another poet here says that he ' gave life in inverse '
(paraphrased). Mixed with yours, one gets the sensation that your poem describes creation. Might be an idea to open a window in the cafe and let some air in. Mysterious!
