Pretty Mood Dancer

Pretty Mood Dancer

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

~Dancing is the language of expression

"
A colored butterfly swirling around
in the wind...music no sound
Halo of sparkles light from her jewels
dancing free without any rules

Gypsy scarves lining her dress
tanned legs moving...without any rest
hands softly swaying to an unseen lover
long dark hair full lips uncovered

Dark faraway look in her eyes
as her body motions...tries
to seem unattached to the crowds
which draw in to this dancing shroud

It covers her wavy long raven hair
upon which...many have stared
Bracelets clinging earrings hum
rings only on the pinkie and thumb

Who might this lady be
dancing around...elegantly free?
Few men she has known
in this dance, she knows just one

Dark hair strong stance
he watches her dance
Arms folded too tight
to hold her tonight

Far away she dwells
his heart it fails
to beat just right
as he wishes with might

that he could touch
his dream so much
for she is his answer
his pretty mood dancer

I really enjoyed this poem. It flows so well as the she easily swirls. There is a real soft feeling about this and like him, I am entranced by just watching the dance.
Well done.

The poem is so beautiful. I was told I was born with Gypsy blood. Didn't want to be lock-in or controlled. The poem is beautiful. I like the description and the story. I saw the dance of Gypsy woman when I was young. I brought whiskey and food. They gave me friendship and laughter. I like the story. Took me back to the forest of Germany. A outstanding poem. The description was a amazing.
