Self Control

Self Control

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

'Getting a grip on self control'

"

I grab my own horns
 to guide myself
to ride myself
to hide myself.

I trust completely only two
one is me, the other not you.

Twenty doors are open
all at one time
I find
I'm blind.

In the beginning
high alert
robotic scans
computing hurts.

I find there is pleasure
in silence, a treasure.

Leave me alone
Just get a hold
don't let go
never let go.

"Silence" is but a quick fix to stabilize ones psyche at that particular moment in time.
