The One Who Truly Cares

People who talk to Jesus
who know his spirit true
are the very people
who want to talk to you.

It's not because of power
of course it's not the fame
it's not even the money
it's truly not a game

In study from mind and heart
with spirit deep in soul
the reason for the talks
are just for you to know

To know the greatest feeling
that there is to be known
when you are at your lowest
you are not alone

Who would take the time
for every soul alive
to listen to all their needs
and to stay by their side

Even when the world
takes out the cross and the prayer
Jesus is still standing
by our side, he is there.

So for the people who won't listen
who is removing Jesus now
I can no longer help you
you are lost and this I vow:

that I will still pray
for all including you
for Jesus knows our hearts
and we're forever true

So that one day when you need him
I pray that he's still there
and that you will feel the love
of the one who truly cares
