Lost Soul

Lost Soul

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

"If you don't know... you may never know."

"

The same demons that pull at your soul
are the very demons you won't let go.

You mock your Creator as if there is none
then you shiver inside for what you have done.

It's more important to justify your sins
as if there's no God, just a bang and a trend.

You laugh at others who believe in a Spirit
who created and rules... no you won't hear it.

The very darkness that deafens your ears
is the very darkness that you hold dear.

Without the narcissism, you are lost
you're a shell of a spirit, a fallen ghost.

So live of the flesh because when you are done
you will know, the demon has won.
