You Thought You Had Me

You Thought You Had Me

A Poem by Gypsie

Destruction is your desire

Devastation is your goal

Annihilation is your motive

Nothing left but tortured soul.

You said that you loved me

But time told the truth

You never knew what love was

You were truly uncouth.

But I am here to tell you

That I won’t fall into your schemes

You can never kill me

For I will haunt your dreams.
