Travels

A Poem by Gypsie

Thousands of miles we have traveled,

Thoughts in our heads to unravel.

Glorious mountains we have adored,

Winding paths we have traveled to shore.

Long nights we would amble to sleep in a car,

Not caring if we have gone near or far.

Three hundred miles just to be there,

Unaware if weather were stormy or fair.

Trips we have taken to see a sunrise,

Comes to others not by surprise.

Coffee in hand leaning against hood of car,

Amused we have followed a wandering star.

Three thousand miles just to be free,

That's travels with Nikki, Jack and me.

A wondrous road trip.

I love the simplicity, you've given the reader such a fantastic verbal photo.

Sounds like hell to me. But i just hate being in a car that long, and the worse part is trying to find a good radio station.

Good flow, poppy rhymes.

I bet the sunrise was beautiful.

regards,

Matthew
