Thick and Thin

Thick and Thin

A Poem by Gypsie

You who are with me through thick and thin, my friend my love my truest companion.

Colourful and exciting our lives have been, leaving us with many stories to be told.  We knew when we were born that our stars would collide in an explosion to set the heavens afire.

It is not for the common man to know what this love is nor is it his right to question its existence.  For it is rare and beautiful.

They say that blood is thicker, but they are wrong, it is the intangible love, the feeling of rightness that breaks all boundaries throughout time.

It is you who comforts me in my sorrow, you who shares my greatest joys and you who I know will be there on the morrow when all else appears fleeting.

And when you are blue, unsure of yourself, worried what will come next in our lives my heart bleeds out a thousand tears; wanting to comfort you, to guide you onto the next road to be taken.

Ours is a life of uncertainty, new chapters unfolding daily.  It is up to us to write joy into them and that, I am most certainly sure we will do.

I know, my eternal love, that this is but one walk of many we have taken and that more, so many more are yet to come; we have never followed the common path and that has made all the difference to us both.

Interesting, I like the the unspoken, the purity and the expression that comes from this. I like the rebellious feeling i get from the words and the emotions that dance along with each word. An excellent piece, and feels very soul bound. Great work.

Matthew
