Saving the DayA Chapter by SorEmber and Tinker Bell try to save the day!
Ember and Tinker Bell had walked for an hour before they found a healing-talent. They were probably in another town, for the nurse was slim and smaller; she kind of reminded them of Silvermist.
"I am so exhausted," Ember said after they dropped Terrence off there. "Yea, me too," Tink responded. "I don't think I can do this." "But we have to. Terrence needs our help. It is a good thing we stowed-away, now that I think about it." "Yes, it is; and, yes we should, even if we don't want to." "Yea," began Ember teasingly, "he was a burden... he should eat less, the fellow. He's a lot heavier than he looks." "Ember!" Tinker Bell said in a surprised tone. "I'm shocked! He's our best friend, and that's what you have to say?" So the two went to his boat. Tink started it up. Terrence had left a note with a list of places to where he should go to do his deliveries. The last place was: Sunriver Town. That sounds a lot happier than "Big Gouge Gully," thought Ember. "Where is this place?" asked Tinker Bell. "Isn't there a map?" Ember shot back. "Oh! Yea, right here." "I knew there would be." "I've never been a heroine before, Ember!" laughed Tink. "I'm not going to say we are until we're finished," Ember replied solemnly. When the duo got to Sunriver Town, Ember mused as mostly the whole town was light-talent. "I fit here," she said to her companion. "But don't stay here, we'd miss you tremendously." "I won't!" "Good." Ember found the depot first. She and Tink went inside. They saw the owner. "Excuse, me," Ember said patiently. The owner looked over the counter and saw the two Fairies. "Hello," he said. "Why are you two here?" "You see, sir," Ember answered, "Terrence was supposed to come, but he had an incident." "Oh, what kind of incident?" "At Big Gouge Gully..." "He went there! Out of all the respectable Sparrowmen, he went?" "Yes, he did. For his deliveries. You see, he was beat up at a tavern, and is currently being cared for. We, Tinker Bell and Ember..." "Tinker Bell!" exclaimed the owner. "Terrence talks much of you. My name's Setter. I own this depot." "Okay, as I was saying," Ember continued. "He was beat up, so since we were following him, we decided to finish them for him." "You stalked him?" asked Setter. "Well... uh... yes, we pretty much did. Bye!" "Oh, okay. See you girls later!" When they left the note, a few minutes later, Terrence got in the boat. He saw the note and read it: "Terrence, We're sorry for the inconvenience. We finish the deliveries for you, since it would be too late once you did. You can ask us about it later!" -Ember & Tinker Bell Right then, without a question, Terrence started the boat. Tinker Bell was sitting too close to the motor, and it hit her. She fell into the water. Only Terrence(supposedly)saw it. "Tink!" he yelled. "C'mon! Go save her, Mr.!" Ember said to him. "I didn't even know you guys were here until now! And I'm not a Mr." "Oh, I thought all sailors were supposed to be married." "Ha-ha! I'm laughing soo hard!" But as Terrence dove to save her, he couldn't pull her up. He kept struggling and coming up for air. He made another attempt, but he just couldn't. All is lost, he thought.
