Rebels die

Rebels die

A Poem by Ray

Killers kill.

Healers heal.

My story is desperate
I'm dying at this rate
Being used as bait
Standing at hell's gate

Hate is consuming me
Everyone, let me be
A deathly berry
This is the key

To save her, to save him
To leave this place so grim
The light becomes so dim
How her eyes used to gleam

He stares right into my eyes
Wondering if it's all lies
Saying all these goodbyes
Defying these guys

I'm not pretending
And here is the ending
Of this nightmare, here fading
This time I'm dying

Emperors live.

Rebels die.
