Seldom

Feeling more than you verbalise.

Often I want to say so many things,
Seldom do I open my mouth to speak.

Often I want to show you the colours of my thoughts.
Seldom do I grab an easel and paint.

Often the intention is solid,
Seldom does it materialise.

Often do I question why I don't express,
Seldom do I answer the same question.

Always I love and appreciate you beyond comprehension.
Never will my love for you disappear.

I like this poem G. Your simple repeated structure is very effective and the content strikes a strong chord with me. How often does our outward expression struggle to keep up with our inward feelings. Sadly this disconnect is often strongest in matters of love when feelings are strongest.
