There's a frantic feel to this piece that's so realistic. I agree; we all have felt this feeling and housed such thoughts on repeat. This reminds me of an inner chant we tell ourselves before we're about to embark on something horrific. The world starts to cave in an we feel suffocated from the pressure. Yes, I've definitely been here before. In moments such as these, I attempt to find the breath that was snatched away, gather myself, and take another step. I love short works such as this with messages that speak so loud. Great, great read.
So relatable, it's like a huge dose of reality. The poem for me reflects my frustration with the situations around me and also the situations I often get involved with. Sometimes I just feel like stuffing my face in my pillow and yelling This is too much. Powerful write.

I had a strange thought recently. I won't go too deep into it and I hope I'm not crossing a line here but spiritual beliefs aside I wondered that if there was another life after this, and if I had a life before, or if this was my first life. However, if this was my first or second life and if there is a life after this, how will I make in the next if I can not try my best to survive in this one? It was just a thought, not a belief, as I'm not quite atheist, but not quite spiritual either. I don't really believe in anything but I do wonder, and I will only truly know when I'm dead... so I live the best I can even when it gets too much. Life was too much when I was 9 years old, yet somehow people still thrive. Not to sprout inspirational speeches or anything but if life is too much, how will we ever live if we don't even try to survive?
Hard to breathe when you feel like you're drowning..but the waves will bring you to shore.catch your breath.rise up.figure out what direction to go.take a step forward...
Not alot to comment on. This world puts alot on our shoulders, what always helps me is some mixed chinese japanese loose leaf green tea, or some loose leaf rooibos chai tea (minty). I also burn a rather expensive candle for about 2 hours to persuade me to sleep. I recommend some warm tea to anyone needing to take an edge off, plus they smell great.
