If Wishes Were Horses ...!

Gratitude expressed for well-wishers

"If wishes were horses...", they said.
For me, they certainly are!
Each precious one, a pole star,
Navigating, guiding, encouraging,
Beacons pointing my path from afar.
"... beggars would ride", they said too!
Yes, for me it's so true!
Wishes remind, I do have you,
To tweak my ear, or pat my back,
A big hug and a big "thank you"!
