Story of me, a leaf!

Story of me, a leaf!

A Poem by Guruji
"

My life in short

"
I lie,
My veins prominent,
My skin in dust,
Crowning or browning glory of rust!

I recollect,
Born fresh green,
Flipping in the breeze,
Carefree of all in support and ease!

And happy,
With friends along,
My twig and many in bloom,
Till eventually the dusk wrapped in gloom!

I'm glad,
I've done my job,
Fed the fruits and seeds,
For progeny to see, know and in deeds!

done your job, and lie among all of your friends who also were once fresh green.

nice allegory....we all have our spring and summer....then autumn when we have aged...and are hoping that we have provided the foliage of life and love for those around us, before we become "veins prominent"---
