When will we reach?!

A short collection of 3-line verses hoping humankind will one day realise the importance of unity and harmony

One step, and then another,

Pushed the heel tread back,

And the toe ground in.

Pebbles, stones, mud and grass,

Tiny flowers and beetles, bugs,

A mix of fortunes and curses, both.

Sun and wind, rains braved,

Arm to arm in support, held,

Challenges won and smiles joined.

One thorn, an uneven trip,

One fruit, the other sour,

Arms lost hands, envy greened.

Oh ma! In hope and awe,

Learn one step, a giant leap,

Land of love, when shall we reach?!
