You have indeed found a way to help rekindle the joy of the human spirit. "God Says" is a delightful reminder of the simplicity of God's promises. We know that spiritual joy lies beyond mortal control. Yet, an increasing slice of mankind has fallen to tinpot tyrants calling themselves fascists, globalists, Marxists, communists, and progressives. Theirs is such a hellish thing to us innocents who believe God promises. They have long since joined forces to disarm us against their onslaught. To spread their deceit, they must first deny the existence of God and decree death to all like you and me who proselytize. In their prison of the human spirit, the very right to breathe is meted out at gunpoint to a defenseless populace -- at the price of our soul. Your tribute holds the door open for all to right that wrong. Well done.
A very fine piece; I enjoyed it very much.Well written and lovely.
God is a favorite subject of mine, also. I have a few religious pieces, most notably THIS, I BELIEVE. Let me share another poem about Him with you, brother:
NEVER LOST OR ALONE
A Poem by angel
" Who can know the way to go? We can put our trust in our Father. "
I stop to look around me
And find that I am lost.
I might remember that tree,
But where's that stream I crossed?
The way to go's conciliar;
It's all there, set in stone.
Yet nothing seems familiar...
And I feel quite alone.
It seems that it is efferent,
So no pain do I feel;
But everything seems different
And nothing here seems real.
I call out to my Father;
I know that He will hear
And not think it's a bother
To love away my fear.
My hand is gently taken
And to the path He leads;
My faith remains unshaken
That He'll fulfill my needs.
He sets my feet upon the road
That brings me back to home,
He lightens, too, the heavy load
And cautions, "Never roam,
But keep your place beside me
And hold fast to my hand,
Just trust Me, child, to guide thee.
To that sweet, promised land.
