Time

Time

A Poem by Drew

when the world crumbles
and turns from plains to pits
is it worth your struggles
to get where your sight sits

time is everyones reaper
unescapable are we and left in gloom
with each second we fall ever deeper
to our inevitable doom

horrid is the thought of old age
with each day that passes
we turn another page
in our story, lost in the masses

In our youth we take everything for granted
living life to the fullest
once this seed was planted
it grows til we cease to exist

Once our plants of life take form
we can never go back and change
hopefully our lives can survive the storm
or our fate we shall engage

With each plant that withers
a new seed is planted
as always there will be others
the circle of life is a wheel enchanted
