Reoccurrence

Reoccurrence

A Poem by Drew

The darkness collapses the world.

Time freezes for a second

You turn the other way

and never look back

I scream your name

you will here me in time

if it's only just a whisper

the rain feels like the fists of god

each drop bringing me closer to the ground

how could life be so cruel

a gun would do me no good

god hates me so much he'd jam it

the wheel of ka turns

what happened before will happen again

why?

your fate is in your hands

but you cannot use those hands

to grab onto someone elses

our lives are never entwined

why am i thrown a bone

being starved

yet kept alive

for a second i taste something sweet

only to know what i don't have

....what i'll never have

the gravity entenseifies

the weight of the world was hard enough to bear

now after you, everythings is crashing down

don't worry

keep moving

you were only part of the cycle

i will break it

how do you keep something from reoccurring?

you don't cause it to occurr at all

it seems what i thought, is the truth in the end

this time, i won't fall

this time

i won't be given

why is the world the way it is?

whats so wrong with me
