Chamomile

A Poem by GunMetal

Here's to short poems for short people. Cheers.

"

I feel like...
like a simile I can't think of right now
like when you leave home in the morning
and you feel like you forgot something
so you keep looking over your shoulder
and forget where you're going

Forgotten is a way of life for many of us. Eventually they remember and regret forgetting because by that point what they forgot is gone.

I know the feeling of this poem. Always concern you left something behind. Good title and I like the thoughts in the poem. A excellent poem.

The irony of the poem makes me smile. I'd like to see a longer of this, with more wordplay and great oxymorons. I love the imagery that went with it though. The imagery that describes how you can't describe how you feel.
This would even almost be a great portion of a song.
If you couldn't tell, I liked it. Keep it up.
