She is, She is.

She is, She is.

A Poem by Giulia King

She is colorful,
A bright red rose in this dusty world.
She is the sunset,
Soft hued blend of auburn, sapphire, and burning red.
She is beaming.
She is a thinker,
There's something so deep in her eyes.
She is hopeful,
Always believing something wonderful is about to happen.
She is a distant memory,
A piece of poetry,
A passionate lover.
...
She is art.

This is a cleverly executed poem with multi-layered meaning, an ode to Art. It has wonderful beautiful imagery, as beautiful as 'she' is.

Well done

She has much appeal... A great, well-structured poem that makes its point nicely.

she certainly is. great stuff. really like this one. very deep and telling. your words paint a telling portrait of a complex woman. wonderful imagery and analogies. pic, song and title all reinforcing. one of your best i think ... :)

She is all that and more, Giulia. She is the colours of the sunset & sunrise, of flowers and gem stones. She is whatever we perceive her to be...she will delve deep into those recesses of our souls and pull out the belief that we have never seen...heard...or read anything so beautiful
She is Picasso...Dali...the Old Masters...Beethoven...the Beatles...Hemingway...Fitzgerald...and any number of artists...in all senses of that word who have graced us with their talent.

You have written a fine piece of poetry that is not a distant memory.

Thank you for that.

A good write.

she is the art within us...and the art displayed because of us.
we draw with our pen or the keys...and hope our gallery will be exposed and remembered.
"i am not a poet, living is the poem" (Melanie Safka)

love this one...thematically but also the arrangement on the page adds to it.
