Stardust

Stardust

A Poem by Giulia King

She takes a deep breath and sighs. "Oh darling"
She whispers into the darkness.
"If our souls are made out of stardust, then how come my skin feels like a desert?"
The depths of her soul lives in poetry,
in a in-between world with him.
"You're the brightness of a star,
The magic in my life."
"You're the only secret my heart guards."
She says as she gently puts her arms around him and blissfully drifts off into infinity.

that last line, it's so beautiful.
to drift off together into eternity...
that is breathtaking

wow, yes, people and relationships...they do really seem to be like the in-between for our writings...do have them in order to write? or do we write as a result of our interactions with them?

i like this one, lots.

All around good. I love the imagery, and it has a positive theme. Well written, and nice image to match.

Ahh, catch yourself before you fade into such place, think of what it would be like, and if it seems appealing, let go of the rope and tumble your way down the depths of the heart, Im sure the wind will carry your sands towards another place.
