Blank Canvas

Blank Canvas

A Poem by Giulia King
"

A soul that's out of this world

"
I could admire you forever.
You're like a blank canvas, desperate to find some colors in the world that might light up your life.
But there's not even a color that could describe your depth.
Your soul is out of this world, an endless imagination that can't be trapped in this monotonous and grey world.

You execute "fully" - pouring until the last drop has dripped. This makes reading your work quite fulfilling; satisfying to read. For a shorter piece - this is perfect. A job well done. You seem to have a fine eye.

I like the title as well. I have a piece with the same title.

Now, if the blank canvas were white; it could be the deepest of colours- a fusion of all colours- for those who see beyond and within.

There;s a feel of sufism to your admiration of this mind.

;) I'm glad you did. I loved reading the poem
There is a true musicality to this! Melodic with precise sense of meter with you well crafted words.
The gentle overtone of romanticism amplified by infinity. A soul connection is more than anyone can understand. You've captured that well. Gorgeous poetry. Ray xo

To recognize the depth of someone else like this is a reflection of your own caring soul.

I love this!!
I like this piece; it's strong and reverberating in diction but gentle and sweet in tone. It feels very feminine and that is actually refreshing with the context as most of the woman I encounter are both self deprecating and negative in tone but this was different. Overall well done!
