You Wouldn't Understand

i've been a complete mess about this.

you wouldn't understand 

      how much i love you.

you mean everything to me.

      i can't have you 

because you have a boyfriend

      and it sucks so much

knowing that the love

      of your life

won't ever love you back.

      the way you love me 

is sooo much different

      from the way i love you.

you won't understand

      you'll never understand

the love that i have for you.

and if it fails at first.. buy the ticket again.. if you are rejected at the ticket counter, buy the ticket yet again! you decide when it becomes too odd. either way.. if there is anything i know for sure.. most people misunderstand our position on things even after we tell them what we think, they still dont understand us.. you need to figure out if she understands what you are saying.. chances are...(im assuming there is more to the story than what is written here) she does not. and if she does.. you bought the ticket and took the ride.. the next step would be.. own the show. She chooses him, because, He owns the show.. Man up, (meaning, upstage that fool) own the show, and be the boss. There is something she wants in you.. (trust me when i say this) that he has or at least she thinks he has it, LOL find out what it is that she thinks he has that differs from you and be that.. done deal. -s

i love this poem, so i came back to read it again.. and a funny thing happened to me today.. you might enjoy this story.. i saw this girl i am crazy about on the back of a motorcycle, with who i thought was a guy.. well we both arrived at the same gas station today at the same time, and it was her best friend driving the bike not a dude.. lol anyhow.. the whole way there after i saw them i was so upset, but then i realized, her companion was not as serious as i once thought.. buy the ticket.. take the ride.. (meaning) dont be afraid to tell her how you feel.. you might be surprised at her response..

This is so cute and sad. I actually know how this feels. I've been in this position before. Wanna know how I handled it? Well, it wasn't easy but I had to atleast keep him as a friend. If I didn't have him at ALL then I would feel sick. Later, they all come back :) I promise.
