i've been a complete mess about this.

you wouldn't understand 

      how much i love you.

you mean everything to me.

      i can't have you 

because you have a boyfriend

      and it sucks so much

knowing that the love

      of your life

won't ever love you back.

      the way you love me 

is sooo much different

      from the way i love you.

you won't understand

      you'll never understand

the love that i have for you.

Scary how well I can relate to this. I remember falling in love with my best friend Kyle and knowing and being told that he didn't love or feel for me that way at all. It hurt seeing him date other girls and getting treated like crap, when he and everyone knows I wouldn't treat him like that. He forced me to push my every feeling I had for him away. Falling for someone like never before, then having to act as if those feelings for them don't exist just because they don't feel the same way. It's probably one of the toughest things I've had to do in my life.
