Faster Then Rain

Inspired by the movie "5cm per second'' because I love it to death.

How about we play a game?
Let's see who can fall in love
faster then rain.
The water rushes past us
and shatters on the ground.
as we take in the silence,
talking with no sound.
I see your soul reflected in my eyes,
the sorrow within that suddenly dies.
I'm falling and falling
faster then light.
I do it without trying,
leaving thoughts in the night.
Tell me, who won?
This silly little game?
With me falling faster
then the time it takes to rain.

I like how you used "rain" maybe as a metaphor here. Cause rain can represent sorrow (tears) that love can bring us. You're saying "how fast will it be until I fall?" "will I beat the rain?"
