Dusk - Mr. HydeA Poem by GuavaguyI wrote this and then typed it up, and I wanted to share it here! I LOVE writing stories and a word popped into my head and there it was! A story.Deep Beneath his fragile skin Lies a man of muscle A seething beast of monstrous strength And though he himself cannot release the void A potion will do just fine Oh, chemical compound My heart's delight Release my rage, Release it tonight, Simmering substance of salubrious stock, Release me here by the grandfather clock And when the grandfather clock striketh twelve, Put me back where the gnomes do delve So here I am, released at last Romping the city at night And where I walk all cower in fear, And they run from me in their mortal fright. But something is wrong, It's not quite me, I must get out of this facade, My heart is pumping, My eyes are seeing, Yet I'm not who I am, I'm stuck in someone else And now he won't release me, Even though the clock striketh twelve! I want to get out! I need to get out! I must get off this tulmultuous ride But I cannot now for he is strong, And all my friends think that I have died, So here I am By the grandfather clock, Watching as passes the time that I bide, Waiting on the day that I'll so strong, To release myself from Mr. Hyde.
