Dusk - Wise Council

Dusk - Wise Council

A Poem by Guavaguy
"

There was a long hiatus where I did not write poetry, I had discovered music and was enthralled by writing songs. However, earlier this year, during chemistry, I wrote this, ending the hiatus.

"
 Thus do they stand
Perpetual
Ever still, Ever thinking
Never moving, Never doing
And all the fools come to they saying
'lo, we are unworthy!'
And as it said,
So it shall be

And doesn't the sun shine bright over
those hills?
And isn't the sky of bluest blue?
And is the earth not brown, conceited, thick?

And where have all the wise gone?
All I see are fools!
And then there is no one for they to go
and say 'we are unworthy!'
So they shout it to the wind
And as it is said,
So it shall be.
