Raja, Fourth of the Gatesmen

Raja, Fourth of the Gatesmen

A Chapter by Guavaguy

In the center of the floor
Is a tiny lamp,
And from it emerges Raja the djinn,
Promising me my hearts desires;
Lies.
He promises light I have already seen,
He promises courage I have already found.
I'm not going to be fooled by a worm of smoke.
Clank.
I kick the lamp over and the gate opens,
So much for that.
