In a Field

In a Field

A Chapter by Guavaguy

You have been left alone young child!
But do not worry,
I will take care of you,
And make arrangements for your guidance.
I see a hero in you young babe,
But there is much for you to overcome.
And in a field,
You will be raised by sprites of the wood.
Maybe they will avert your destiny,
But even I may not be able to save you from the fate of your kind.
So revel, sunchild, in the light of the sun,
Which will feed thee as thy mother's milk would have,
I deem thee Helis,
And will be thy parent while thy need is great.
Come hither,
The wood sprites will see to thee.
