Waking up, realizing to yourself you know what??

 

I CAN DO THIS.

 

no longer will the opinions of others get me down.

 

no longer will i hide the feelings that are wrapped up inside me

 

i just can't..

 

but unfortunately i must..

 

because you see it is not the gossip, the opinions of others, even the loss of friends that i care about.

 

its the words " I forbid you to.." coming from my household

 

that are causing me to hesitate..

 

but the day will soon come, the day of my birth, the day that i am free..

 

that is the day that i will let my true feelings be known..the day i will confess everything to them.

 

for then they have no power over me..over us

GUESS WHAT I WEN THROUGH THE SAME THING YOU DID ... IT WAS HARD AND THE DAY I TURNED 18 I WAS LIKE SCREW EVERYONE AND I GOT MARRIED TO MY NOW HUSBAND AND EVERY ONE WAS WRONG AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY SO IF THIS POEM IS BASED ON TRUE LIFE JUST HANG IN THERE!!
