Soliloquy of Mine

Soliloquy of Mine

A Poem by Griffin

When dreams crash
onto icy shores
life stops for a moment

But when i jump start
my heart
all is well

I fly free
into the wind
though memories remain

I can feel the pain
and i want to help
but i don't

I walk away
while love remains
reminding me of long ago

I wish you the best but
you cant keep me
from being the best

I remain above the rest
always the one
cared for the most

I live to love
and love to live
and you'll remember me for it

I'll go down in history
as the ruler
of the free world

Iron fist yet
heart of gold
gets what needs to be done

And it will be done
because i will overcome
i always do

I enjoyed the aloof arrogance of the character in this, it's quite brilliant really.

Feels like Masculine heroism of the worst kind.
