Is it what we all do, or is it just me?

All you people...

You make me sick

Have you no conscience

Or mind of your own?

Is everyone truly that thick?

 

Or is it me

Who is numb, who can't understand

Who isn't a person

Just a pen and a hand

 

I have withdrawn

To my favorite dark place

Watching and

Waiting...

For a less bitter taste

Oopsie, someone needs a spoonful of sugar to make the bitterness come out...LOL.
A great poem. The rhythm was off but that was part of the unusual flow. I liked that most of all. The opening line and stanza really caught my attention, well done.
