Forever Alone

Forever Alone

A Poem by Taylor Sherman

So much I wanted to say

But so little that I could

Now I am a heartbreaker

Alone forever

There is no happily

Ever after

Left for me

In this life

There is no more

Smiles

For they have been

Replaced by tears

These tears

Rain down

Down

Down

Flooding my world

Deepening the feelings

Of being alone

Of being without

Forced to go

Each day

Believing I am

Worthless

Each day

Becomes a drag

Moving my life inch

By ever slow moving

Inch forward

Until they day

Dawns

Where I am

No longer empty

No longer alone

Even if that day

Resides in hell

It will be the day

I genuinely smile

For I have found

What I ruined

I found

Happiness

Eternal.
