Just stop

Just stop

A Poem by Taylor Sherman

Stop
Just stop
Stop the lies
Stop the pain

When you said
Goodbye
The pain amplified
To the extent of

Knives sliding
Across the skin
Trying to distract
Oneself from pain

From the Anguish
That is called
Love
For even though

We've hurt each other
And have tried to move
On to better pastures
I cannot

For true love
Doesn't
Die
