Friendship

Friendship

A Poem by Taylor Sherman

Arm
Cut and bleeding
Tears
Flowing like a river

Heart
Broken and abused
With these feelings
I place my headphones on

To drown myself
To drown the sorrow
To ignore the world
Slumped over

My writing
Hood up
So no one can see
I feel a warmth around me

As arms wrap around my chest
And hair tickles the back
Of my neck
I freeze up

But relax
In her arms
Knowing that
Even while I don't

Call anyone mine
Have anyone to be
Overly romantic
With

I am loved by my friends
For who I am
