Beyond the surface

Beyond the surface

A Poem by Grimshaw

like the black and the blue
Combine in illusion
To stretch infinitely beyond
All the stars
And
The
Universes,
I too have a mask
Yet no one cares to look beyond it
Thus my universe stays undiscovered
And my stars do not bring pleasure.

Beautiful illustration of the universe parallel to our personalities and life outlooks. Keep on sharing on Writers Cafe!

Wonderful poem. Like you say in your bio - you love short bursts of expression and reading this poem, I can see why. Beautiful and mysterious at the same time, while filling my mind with imagery. Takes talent to convey so much with so little. Kudos.
