a horrifying picture

a horrifying picture

A Poem by Grimshaw

Its mouth in a vertical position next to its nose in a tilted fashion
It looks as though its clothes had been sewn on with string and needle
A lump almost ape like posture
With chain tied around its body
and at the end of it
a distant disgusting twitching object.

Not human, not animal and even less so beautiful.

As I come within touching distance it turns around and leaves a cloud of dust behind it, running.

'Beauty does not lie in the beauty of the sketch but in the thought' it shrieks.

then disintegrates into thin air.

It's more of an obscure rather than horrifying picture. You have unique expression. Nicely penned!
