the colors you see dancing
cast this life in meaning as your mind catches them amidst their sprightly gleaming they tell a tale of creation perhaps the same as ours from nothing they spring forth and bloom along like flowers the darkest depths give birth to cascading rainbow light which fades and melds together into the pure, shining white from a sight which is sightless to a sensation so blinding the spectrum carries onward all shades and hues aligning each color stains the blush that paints the painter’s cheek as every brush stroke pulls my eye’s oceans where they streak i dream in deep undertones which overstay when i wake reminders that the mind is bright when life is mottled gray it’s said where there is naught something cannot be made but the light shows us truth from which we tend to stray i yearn to be those colors as they fade into sharpness against the laws that govern the world where my heart lives © 2020 Jason EllisFeatured Review
