Little Thing

Little Thing

A Poem by Jessie
"

"Cosita" Means Little Thing in Spanish...^.^

"
Cosita, she said,
come rest your weary head
Forget the cruel things I said
Cosita, she said,
Drift awa, far away,
while I watch our moon sway
and on a cloudy sky you lay
Drift away, far away.

Cosita, she sighed,
Let your dreams be your guide
And forget I've ever lied
Cosita, she sighed,
Sail away, far away,
Escape from this day
And don't listen when I beg you to stay
Just sail away, far away.

Cosita, she wept,
A distant lullaby while I slept
She told me to float away, far away
Reapeating the words, "Just don't listen when I beg you to stay..."
