When did the clouds go dark?
I never noticed.
Was it because my eyes
were always filled with tears?

When life already sucks and it just gets worse. What a life. Although I do believe there's a rainbow after the rain :)

first off the font and color changes are fantastic! doesn't always work but it grabbed me right away .. and the length makes this a tightly written morsel of deep sorrow ... i love it .. well said .. nothing to add nor subtract in my mind! really fine emotive poem ... universal and relatable

yes, there is a rainbow out there...but sometimes as your poem indicates...we can't see through the tears...and we are fooled because we think the tears are rain.
