Late Winter/Early Spring

Late Winter/Early Spring

A Poem by Rogue Daffodil
"

A snapshot of my coastal village.

"

Late Winter/Early Spring

Powderpuff clouds float

Distant in the azure sky

Obscuring the Sun

Clear water reflects

The golden rays piercing through

The misty blanket

Light caresses all

With soft and gentle tendrils

I smile now, as

Newborn spiders drift

On silken cord toward me

In the salty breeze

Author's Note

Rogue Daffodil
This may, or may not be considered real haiku. I care only for the spirit it conveys. If you are a fundamentalist haiku nazi, please spew your drivel elsewhere.

About
I am the Rogue Daffodil, the flower that blooms to herald the Spring. My petals are pure rays of Sunshine, melting into your skin like a warm, soft kiss. My fragrance is mellow and sweet.. more..
