Call of the Moon

Call of the Moon

A Poem by Paige
"

Who will see the meaning of the title? And the double meaning of the poem?

"

I walk down the dusty ribbon road

Searching for you

I let the wind whip away words caught in my throat

Calling for you

You glow with life’s healing light

Brightening me

You travel on golden rays of greatness

Turning from me

A month I travel, on your bright heels

Chasing you

Every day I lose you in a lavender dusk

Just missing you

Alone I travel slowly, never quite whole

Losing you

Alone I dim and fade, then grow again

Sighting you

On the last day, you turn to my face

Smiling at me

On the last day I am whole as I shine

Seeing you

Then again you slip away and I follow

Never leaving you

Always leaving me
