Love & Affection

About how we need more love, less hate and how were killing ourselves for our own gain.

Everyone only needs two simple things; love and affection.

It's the way we were made.

Begone, self-obsession!

Leave now, posthaste!

And now give attention to what I now will say-

Straight gay or bi, pan-sexual pride, black, white or beige, we still count the days.

Worship of God, worship of nature, Atheist or not, We're all still equal.

Mentally unstable or perfectly sane, dirty piss poor or filthy rich, either way, If we stand united, united as one.

If we move together, more work will get done.

Killing ourselves because of our pride.

Our selfishness hurts and stabs others in the eye.

Listen to your words when you throw them around.

Watch as they bring your own brethren down.

And soon someone will force YOU down on your knees.

Their words act as gunshots at horrid top speeds.

Each causing rippling blood to appear.

Each ringing louder within your ears.

Because as a whole race we are selfish with pride.

No one admitting tot the planks in their eyes.

No one with compassion except for their own little stride.

If it doesn't pertain to oneself, what use is it to I?

What use can it possibly give to me?

If it's not the noose to another then it's no use to me!

If it won't hang someone else to get me closer to my goal, then what have I for something so low?

Were killing ourselves off from our own stupid thinking.

Natural selection?

Look at our human thinking!

the animal kingdom could survive better than us!

But then again look at that, were killing THAT off!

Were all bloody idiots! Every last one!

Because without love and affection, we've no longer a dove!

All we ever do is find cause for war!

Let's stop all this arguing, it's ever a chore.

Ever a bore, to simply fit in.

If we all act the same, what's the point, then?

I'm not living your way, I'm going to live mine.

I've got a passion and i find it divine.

I find it deserves my time each and every day.

And to share it? I find that ok.

You can share yours, but lets not get in the way.

Because everyone deserves to have the limelight each day.

No one should be used and considered a tool.

If we look out for each-other, not push them into pools, We won't have to worry about our own selfish ways.

Because everyone will look out for each-other those days.

And if that starts to happen, then everyone will find, that everyone is satisfied, and not wasting their time.

Because loving another deserves some love back.

A little affection should be returned, and on top of that, a rancid heartache deserves to be noted that it's still being loved and not dully noted.

So the next time you go out to brag, to go out and tell everyone of your ways, that everything you say is correct and not wrong,

Think about this.

This little song.

This little poem.

This little speech.

Think about the words, and beseech, everyone's love, and everyone's kindness.

Give that out instead of tightening the harness.

Stop tying a noose around everyone's neck.

Because love and affection, deserves some right back.

ahhh, so glad you made this, because yes.. everyone needs to know this and do this. spread love and banish hate. We need to open our eyes to all love and care for everyone. stop being negative.
