How long has it been since I held 

your hand..

Since I hugged you and called you

mine..

How long has it been since i felt 

your lips against mine..

Lips that taste like ice cream..

How long has it been when I last 

heard your laugh..

A laugh that sounds more beautiful 

than all the birds singing in

the morning..

How long, to long...

How long has it been since I seen 

your smile..

A smile that melts my heart..

Its been to long..

But in my dreams I'll hold your hand

hug you and call you mine 

kiss your lips till the end of time

hear your laugh and see you smile 

and feel my heart melt away,

and I will be happy..

I can completely understand where you're coming from. It's not easy to go through a break up, but in time it heals, I know it sounds quite cliche but it's true.

-My only criticism for your poem would be to change "How long, to long.." to "How long, too long.." and to change "Its been to long.." to "Its been too long.."
