I am A Jew.

I am A Jew.

A Poem by Gregor

The last word though

used more than any other

even like “plague” or “saint”

remains undefined.

A penumbra of dark

gentle dissimulation

sick of its onion-dicing

zyklon-b tear inducer

thrashing out the lights

will only bring it nearer.

Because the caroling hate

invents new names

anti- and philo-

and terribly distasteful

for lack of personal

recognition I find it fine

that I have no name

and an erstwhile lineage.
