Dadona

Dadona

A Poem by Gregor
"

hallelujah, man is made

"

When you gaze at me

With that pallid eye

It torches me -

Beginning at my fingertips, toes -

Burning right to my heart

And don’t tell me

Of your secret sainthood

Or your winsome past

I know who you are

And just who sent you

Girl, you're the undertaker

Here to bear

A fiery pall

Draped over my eyes

So I cant see

The iniquities beset

As we roll back time

And take me some place -

Softer, warmer, most knowing -

Where I can accept

The moloch of your touch

Fingers gay cavort

On my forearm

And the fallow hair dances

Or your soft laugh

Licking my eardrums

Like a daimons scream

To learn your evil

And love your meddle

You’ll be a fruit fly

- Gently buzzing in my face

Your shelled, shiny breast against my lips

-Here to taste

My warm, sweet wine
