The most profound thoughts are sometimes (but not always!) the simplest. I'm interested to know in what sense that everything together is one. The obvious thing would be the universe but that is almost by definition. I think you've stirred up a philosophical hornets nest here Greg - and I have deliberately not mentioned religion!
