Struggle

Struggle

A Poem by Greg Skura

I know

How it feels

To be

Uncomfortable

In

Your own skin

I see you

Walking along

Awkward

And unsure

Even after all

These years of life

You still

Struggle

To move

The form

That you chose

Push on

And endure

The struggle

The brief moment

In flesh slips by

Much too swiftly

All of us

Filled with

Loving joy

And constant

Sorrow

For all that

We could

Or could not

The

Illusion

Of time

Blends

Into one

Continuous pulse

Created at

The original

Spark

Of

"All that is"

Pure

Freedom

Conscious infinite

Radiant energy

Is what we are

if only we could stay young, pure, perfect. I still wouldn't trade a moment of this life but the notion is delightful. And so is this poem. :)
