If only I could write as the words flowed

From my minds eye

With swift and precise hands which float

As each word is revealed

If only I could write what I truly know

With truth clarity and purity

If only I could write

I would write about

The essence of the soul

This one hit me. I think many writers deal with this frustration. it is so difficult to write exactly what we think or how we feel. I know I struggle with that constantly. Great job capturing that frustration and truth.

Hey Greg, I read your poems and this is the one that spoke to me. I am not much of a poetry author. I get my enjoyment writing stories. I appreciate honest strait forward reviews of the things I write. I am new to this site so I don't know exactly what I am doing so far, but eventually I will catch on.
